FROM OUR MAILBOX

From the N.C. Editor: We would like to thank our Anonymous donor once again for the extremely generous donation received in February, 2010.

From Nigeria, Africa, Samuel Monye writes: Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Blessed Saviour, Jesus Christ. We always remember all of you in our prayers for God’s continued grace and blessings on your lives. Our convention was very successful and we were richly blessed. However we give all the credit and glory to God in heaven. You can’t imagine the joy that overwhelmed me when I received your letter. Thank you for receiving my letter and request; may God wonderfully bless you for this. Enclosed with this letter is another write-up for you to look over. It would be even more wonderful to hear from you again. You are always in our hearts and prayers.

From England, Phoebe Waters writes: My dear Brethren in Christ Jesus. Thanking you for sending me the disk of the New Creation magazine. What a wonderful New Year greeting. It was grand to listen to and absorb. Please excuse my writing as I am blind. Accept this gift and blessing on your wonderful love and service. Looking for that BLESSED HOPE. With much love and God’s blessing.

From Kerala, India M. T. Abraham writes: Greetings in Christ, the King. World governments are speeding downhill to their ruination. Christ’s Kingdom will dislodge them from behind so that the meek may inherit the earth. Many people do not understand the signs of the times. I appreciate your good work and remember you and your colleagues twice a day in prayer, especially thanking the Brother who sent $50.00 for my Bible class for deaf and dumb adults. I constantly pray that God may provide a small clean room to seat 20 people so that many deaf Hindu couples may feel inclined to attend in their own classroom where we can keep prayer books, etc. safely and have drinking water facility to wash hands.  I thank god for Sr. Rosemary Page from England. She collects Bibles and mails them to any needy reader. Wishing God’s blessing on you work. Your fellow pilgrim.

From England, Christian African Relief Trust (CART) reports in their Winter newsletter: Twenty containers were shipped in 2009 to Africa and India: 1 to India and 19 to Africa: Togo, Zambia, Benin, 4 to Ghana, 4 to Malawi, 2 to Somaliland, Zimbabwe, Cameroon, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, Uganda, and Eritrea. The average cost of a container is 4948 English Pounds. From India, W.S. Vedha reports:

“The aqua boxes are being used by poor villages and hill tribes, where there is only stagnant water highly polluted and surrounded ny unsanitary conditions. In the Northeast the monsoon has played a great havoc in Karnataka and Andra Pradesh states and in the Nilgiri District of our own state in Tamil Nadu. Land slides made the people living in such places run for safe places leaving their collapsed houses and goods. The loss of life and buildings are so huge! Those who are much affected need the Aqua boxes and relief goods. We are grateful to you and the people in these places will never forget such great philanthropic and human concerned help. The computers are very useful to our ministry and training. Thanking you and may God bless you.” From Liberia, Jacob Luther Knight writes: “News from the school built with CART’s help. The school is now open and serving the purpose it was built for: meeting the needs of poor and needy children’s quest for education. The school also provides a source of income for those who work in it. Thank God for CART. At the moment the school administration is constructing an annex to the school building to be used as a cafeteria. Our students do not have a place to have their lunch during the recess period. The cafeteria is now nearing completion and will take one hundred students at a time. Also four students are due to leave Liberia on an exchange programme in January 2010. The programme lasts for five months so the students will be in the USA for the semester. Wishing His blessings upon you.”  (Editor: Anyone wishing more information about CART and their wonderful work can contact them at PO Box 554, Huddersfield, HD1 9ZQ  England.)

FROM OUR E-MAIL BOX

From Nigeria, Africa, Pastor Filani Olubunmi writes: I appreciate your publication. It is indeed a blessing to my life and ministry. Keep sending the magazine and in addition send some booklets and tracts to me. Thanks. Yours in Kingdom service.

From Liberia, Africa, Pastor Marconi Karthakpah writes: Thank you for linking us to Sister Anna. We look forward to great results as students in Liberia are hopeful to participate in the Bible correspondence course soon. Since the Liberian civil wars (lasting about 15 years), Liberian students have not had such Bible studies opportunity. It is our prayer that the Lord will bless you and also us in Liberia.
