From South India – P.M. Kumar and P.M. Babu (NC Magazine distributors
in Asia) report: Thanks for printing our letter in
the N.C. magazine
in the letter section. As I wrote in that letter, once again, I sent the N.C.
magazines to subscribers in Malaysia
and Pakistan
by registered post. This time a package sent to Asif I. of Pakistan was returned
to me. On the package was written some words in “Urdu” by Muslim workers at the
postal department, who saw that it contained Christian magazines. I was able to
show it someone who knew the “Urdu” language. I came to know thorough him that
they wrote words rebuking (scolding) us for sending Gospel literature to
Muslims. Please pray for them that their hearts may be opened to the Good News.
Please pray for our safety also.
Previously, I asked you to remove the name
of Badiollah S. of Iran because his mail sent by registered
post was also returned to us. At this time, we have only two subscribers left
in Asia and they are from Malaysia.
It is really very unfortunate to see that Muslims are closing the doors to our
spreading the Word of God. May God open their hearts to let missionaries and God’s
people preach God’s Word in their areas.
Thank you for your continuous prayers for me, my ministry and my family.
We love you all so much and are praying for you. Above all, thanks fro giving
us this wonderful opportunity to a be a part of the
CMF ministry. Your brothers in Christ.

From Malawi,
Africa, Dinesi Zibvlita writes: I write to beg you to
find us a ministerial name for our Church. I am a man from Malawi and an
evangelist. I have been reading many magazines and when I discovered yours called
the New Creation, I was so happy and blessed by it. Therefore, I would like to have
a ministerial name or Church which is the same as of your teachings.
From Corpus Christi,
TX, G.D.C. Sr. writes: I was just on the internet and I came across
your group. I carefully read what you believe and I must tell you that you are
one of the very few who I can say are truly trying to follow the
Bible for what
it teaches and
not twisting things around. I have never heard of your group before, so
I am interested in how I could get involved with C.M.F. I hope that God will
open up a way to make this happen. I just started the Bible Truth
Correspondence Basic Course. In the booklet was an address for a magazine
called The New Creation. If I could, I would like to subscribe. It sounds like
a wonderful magazine.
From Migowi, Malawi,
C. Africa, Pastor Frank Witika writes: Greetings in the precious Name of
Jesus. Thank you for the booklets you have sent for our fellowship. We thank
the Lord Almighty for this work and we thought it wise to inform you that our
three ministry stations are far from one another. Therefore, transportation is
a very big problem, however in Jesus’ Name, we are
trying our level best. Please pray for us. The stations where people meet lack
Bibles. If available, please send some to us. Yours in
Christ.
CART Winter Newsletter Report: CART is 25 years old. It started out with an appeal to
relieve poverty in Ghana
to which Jean and Guildford Tompkins responded by sending a box of good. They
were so touched by the response they received that they were motivated to
continue. From then on CART mushroomed. The truth is that CART did not simply
grow. Its expansion came about by others joining Guildford; others who were
touched with the plight, poverty and needs of people in parts of Africa; others wanted to help places other agencies were
not reaching. The others were churches, schools and individuals who just wanted
to make a difference. We are now in 2009 and totally amazed at how the charity
has grown. It is impossible to arrive at a figure for the number of helpers,
who give their time voluntarily, but it must be in excess of 100 who are
involved with the Summer Street operation with very many more out workers. The
work is God’s work and we are conscious of His mighty blessings and we give Him
our thanks and praise. In 2008 CART sent the following to Africa or India: 3865
items of clothing, 1656 household items, 2491 educational aids, 806 computer
equipment, 2294 pieces of school furniture, 59 sports equipment items, 204
music and musical equipment items, 145 religious items, 646 health related
items, 904 self-help items, 932 aqua boxes (water purifiers), 1 special
equipment item, 1370 items of food, 265 hygiene items – totally to 15,636
items. In 2008, 22
shipping containers were sent to Africa or India costing £93,265 alone and £9,273
for other needs.
